Roger Dodd has taught over 70,000 lawyers the art of GREAT cross-examination!
Now, with his son Matt, he takes you to the next level.
North America's most sought-after and entertaining lecturer is perhaps best known for his 21-year presentation of the Killer Cross-Examination series, graded the country's most popular CLE program. Roger Dodd is an internationally-known plaintiff's trial attorney, author, lecturer, consultant and expert on cross-examination techniques.
This seminar offers TWO GENERATIONS of trial lawyers providing a UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE to help you appreciate, understand and manage your case in today's multi-generational courtrooms.
While the bedrock principles of trial work remain the same for all generations, this seminar will help you to FIND YOUR VOICE and YOUR APPROACH. Whether you are an old, grey-beard, lawyer contending with judges and jurors decades your junior or you are a young lawyer working to establish yourself in the courtroom, this seminar will provide you with the tools to excel in any setting.
In a world where cases rarely make it to trial, HOW DO YOU ENSURE YOUR CROSS-EXAMINATION SKILLS STAY SHARP?
Answer: Approach every motions hearing and deposition as if it is a trial - use the CHAPTER METHOD to prepare your cross-examinations and the THREE RULES to discover information, elicit admissions, and lock in witness testimony. This TRIAL-BASED APPROACH allows us to prove up our case early in the litigation, force favorable settlements, and reminds opponents that we are always ready for trial!
Do not be the Caveman Lawyer who relies only on traditional DESTRUCTIVE CROSS-EXAMINATION. Learn how to use CONSTRUCTIVE CROSS-EXAMINATION to force adverse witnesses to supply facts in support of your client's narrative, validate your expert witnesses, and more effectively present your case.
